About Inhaca

Inhaca Island is a subtropical island off the East African coast. Lying 32km east of Maputo, Mozambique, the 52m² island is paradise for those wishing to break away from the hustle and bustle of the cities and crowded tourist spots.
The centre point of activities happens in the Inhaca Village. Here you can find a fresh market, restaurants, bars and general dealers who supply most of the products needed.
To the north of the village, running parallel to the 600 meter tarred airstrip, you will find lodges and camping areas. To the South, on the high ground, you will find luxury lodges and lodges suited for family breakaways.
The main beach in front of the village is an excellent spot to have sundowners and watch the sun set.
The East of the island is utterly deserted, and offers miles of sun-kissed, wave-swept beaches.
