Lucas Restaurant

Lucas Restaurant is the oldest restaurant on the Island and well-known to visitors. Serving traditional Island seafood, chicken and curries, it is a place to relax and enjoy yourself.

Enjoyed the food. Prices reasonable. Although the waiters are very friendly it did take some time for the food to come out. Some of our food was cold.

Bad!! Disappointing!

The visit to Erca restaurant in April with a group from Botswana was met with profound disappointment. Despite our anticipation of enjoying seafood on the Island, the experience was marred by operational challenges, including difficulties in placing orders and a notable absence of menu items. Regrettably, our prolonged wait culminated in an abrupt departure without any sustenance, leaving a lasting unfavorable impression of Erca restaurant, Inhaca Island, and Mozambique.

Would have given a minus  rating if it was possible.

 

Local Cuisine

The eateries are mostly visited by the local population and  serve traditional Island Food. The prices are lower than the restaurants and one has the opportunity to mingle with locals.

They are scattered over the Island and each one has its own atmosphere. Ask you guide to assist in finding these little gems.
